i like your argument but i think chavez actually has the strongest punch
thanks and yeah you're right about that, but chavez is the bigger guy too..... but if you take size out of the equation, and go by all other aspects of each fighter, we got one hell of a fight!!!
I say if Manny could stay on his feet he would win by a thin margin....

when i started this i wasnt trying to start ****. if pacman wants to win this on he cant go punch for punch and has to use his speed i think thats his strongest weapon going in to this fight
i picked Pac because of his speed and power as well as his aggression. JCC has one of the greatest chins ever in the sport so i think that Pac would out point him.
the only thing that would worry me in this bout is JCC's body attack, he was a vicious body puncher and that would take a lot out of Manny.
but overall i see Manny swarming JCC and getting Chavez out of his game plan. i would take Chavez in the rematch though!!!!
i say Pac by MD.
Never did a fighter make a prime JCC get out of his game plan. Ever. What makes you think it would be different with Pac?
Again, Chavez would be the worst possible matchup for Manny, just like Pernell was the worst possible matchup for JCC. Styles make fights. Manny would get butchered and the fight would effectively ruin his career. If he were alive, Edwin Rosario could tell you as much.
That doesn't mean Manny isn't a great fighter, or that he eventually could become as great as JCC. He'd be just too little and, especially, too forthcoming for a prime Chavez.

Yes sir, Many of the people here that say that Pacman would beat JCC are the people who have only seen DLH vs Chavez(36yr old). JCC would eat up those featherweight punches and dish out junior welter-punches. Pac would stand in there for a while, but the destruction would be imminent. Pac is a great fighter, but JCC is too big and skilled for Pacman.
Um, you guys got suckered into this pointless argument and along the way ended up looking really ****** when you said PacMan had any kind of shot vs. JCC at 130. And now it's OUR fault? Ok
JCC would be the worst possible matchup for Manny.
Just what i was thinking.
Chavez is at 130 is too much for
Pacquiao
Morales
Barrera
Juan Manuel Marquez
It is dilusional to think otherwise and shows a real lack of understanding of the sport.
Chavez could take what pacman gives, pac is open and there to be hit, chavez would likely close the distance and put a beating on pac, but he would sustain some punishment in a vicious fight that would likely end late.
