Julio Chavez is too slow for Manny Pacquiao. In order to beat Pacquiao is to make him miss and throw a counterpunch which even a prime Julio isn't capable of. We saw what Pacquiao did to a brawler Diaz. He's too quick for any brawler like Julio.

It's true JJC is an ATG and tough as nails but he's not going to be quick enough to beat Pacquiao. Pacquiao by Decision or stoppage. Pacquiao will be to fast to get away if he does get hurt at any point.

Jcc quit against Oscar, Jcc's resume was padded for the most part and did fight a few big names here and there but most were against bums and level of opposition that doesn't compare to the fighters who are on pacmans resume. Plus, you're clearly a mexican and a biased nutt hugger yourself. And guess what? I'm not filipino or mexican.

Meldrick Taylor basically beat Jcc Jr in the first fight because that was a big bs stoppage. Richard Steele was clearly paid off for that ignorant stoppage, if he honestly cared about Taylors health he would have stopped the fight sooner when Taylor was getting hit by bombs. Taylor won on points in that fight, I don't care what history says and what brain damage he had after that fight he still should have been given those last 2 seconds. And if M TAYLOR can beat JCC, then you bet your ass a hard hitter and fast hitter like pacman could too.

There should be a rule that if you've never seen a guy in his prime, you shouldn't post about him.

I mean, I know everyone's going crazy because Pac beat a chump named Diaz but question for you...

Did you see his fights against Marquez? Close, right? And we're asking if he can beat a PRIME JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ??

            Good Lord...

That's awful comparison. They are two different fighters. One is a counterpuncher and the other is a brawler.

just because pacquiao destroyed an average fighter like david diaz let's not get too carried away with this chavez sr./pacquiao comparison. there is NO comparison. a young chavez was an absolute monster. hell, even some of the fighters he beat, meldrick taylor, edwin rosario would have ko'd pacquiao. the fact is this, pacquiao got a very nice gift in his second marquez fight and now cause he beats on a slow as molasses fighter (diaz) he's now an ATG and can beat chavez? oh, and the reason why chavez didn't win more than three titles is because he cleaned out the divisions in which he fought in, unlike pacquiao who keeps ducking fighters like guzman, juan diaz, casamayor and soto. yes, i said soto. wasn't pacquiao supposed to AVENGE his little brother's anniliation at the hands of humberto soto?

and for the record, the following fighters from yesteryear would have beaten pacquiao like a pinata:

                    salvador sanchez
                    wilfredo gomez
                    ray mancini
                    roberto duran
                    julio cesar chavez sr.
                    hector camacho
                    aaron pryor (at lightweight)
                    azumah nelson
                    floyd mayweather jr.
                    oscar de la hoya

                    etc, etc, etc...

right now pacquiao is the best only because he's fighting carefully picked opponents. why has he ducked guzman or valero? guess what, pacquiao better man up and fight the very best at lightweight otherwise historians aren't going to be too kind to him.

Do you think Pacquiao is quicker than Meldrick Taylor?

Do you think Kostya Tszyu was quicker than Zab Judah?

Speed can be timed and factor in the size and strength advantage of JCC and you have a bit of a mismatch.
