This was clearly a mistype on my part. What I actually meant was that Floyd Mayweather needs to prove himself against Soto Karass.

Wtf you can't be serious^^? Floyd would kill him. And anyone that knows boxing knew Guerrero didn't have a chance either. Not even a punchers chance ha.

Still dont take the fact that hes fought 5 times since 07.

JMM came up Two Division. (plus Floyd couldnt make the weight legally)

        Shane Mosley...Old and done!

Ortiz...sucker punched his way to a win! (hit a man not looking with his hands down) woo woo woo

Cotto...shot! Marg took it out of him. Clottey made it know Cotto wasnt the same. Manny finished him off. 5 years later Floyd says...hey Ill fight Cotto! hehe

Guererro... Well he beat Berto. A bum! Fights Floyd!

        your point was?
        That your not that smart

Robert is a tough solid fighter with skills. he's much better than people give him credit for and he has an awkard style. he had some solid counter punching moments and floyd was weary of that. he caught Floyd good with some body shots.

That isn't what you said before the fight. What did you say before the fight was signed again?

Yeh im sure it had nothing to do with his opponent being a southpaw.

So, people are hating because Floyd is THAT good, and the best possible opponents can't even hang/compete?

That said, I wasn't thrilled when the matchup was made, however I distinctly remember many on the Guerrero boat and excited (or atleast intrigued) by the matchup. Guerrero was a legit opponent, but Floyd is just that good. One word to sum up his performance....'vintage'.

That was his second best performance since his return in 09, his first being against Marquez. The only issue I had was him not adding the left hook in there, or not turning the left hook over, but I think he found it so easy to land the straight right hand that he felt there was no need to land lead/ counter left hooks. It's weird because Mayweather's best punch in the SFW division was arguably his left hook, that's changed through time.

Remember how he scored his first victory via TKO with a left hook to the body? His hook downstairs became rare as he moved up in weight.

I remember him countering Guerrero's jab a couple of times with his hook. It was done long range with a vertical fist.
