I think his lack of fluidity was due to the fact that Guerrero was auto-countering all of Floyd's punches in the first couple rounds, which was working....until he stopped doing it. Floyd adapted but was still weary of those counters.

When the plan was a tune up fight against Guerrero and then a Canelo match in Sept then it is a legitimate fight. He fought a top 5 welterweight in a tune up fight after being off for a year and in jail for 2 months(i think) during that period.

Floyd just outclasses fighters.
