    Floyd's performance against Guerrero......

Now don't get wrong, Floyd looked solid against Guerrero. He won a wide UD in my opinion, and defensively he looked sharper than most of his recent fights.

But......I really feel like he didn't look as fluid when throwing his punches, I don't know. I was re-watching it again this morning, and he didn't look as flouid throwing the right hand as he did against Ortiz and Cotto in my opinion. Was his overall performance better, yes.

Anyone think Mayweather looked a little less fluid throwing his punches against Guerrero??? He still landed a ton and won, but he didn't look quite as fluid in my opinion.

I didn't (i haven't watched fight recently) but his being back with his father, who emphasizes "scoring" blows and defense rather than "power" shots and offense, coupled with his age, may have caused a slight drop off in fluidity.

Its crazy how good Berto made Guerrero look by not boxing using his speed and going toe to toe.

Even then though Floyd I agree didnt look as sound and in control as he usually is. He seemed a bit worried actually in there. But still won comfortably. Guerreros an awkward guy though.

Guerreros awkward style, will and cardio have given people problems like the Diaz brothers in MMA. If you box him and not brawl like Berto letting his great intangibles like cardio and will then hes beatable.

Hes a rangy southpaw though and their always awkward

Floyd was supposed to look solid in there. As he was in his last 5 fights since 2007!

This. I'm usually the guy who tries to hold on to some glimmer of hope that Floyd's opponents can at least make it competitive, but as soon as the fight was made I was disappointed.

Now, I'm not knocking Floyd for taking the fight; Guerrero was the best opponent to take at that moment. However, I never viewed Guerrero as a threat, and I agree that Floyd was head and shoulders above Guerrero in terms of skills.

When the plan was a tune up fight against Guerrero and then a Canelo match in Sept then it is a legitimate fight. He fought a top 5 welterweight in a tune up fight after being off for a year and in jail for 2 months(i think) during that period.

                  Floyd just outclasses fighters.
