But that was at 168. All of Stevens' losses have been at super middleweight.
At 160 Golovkin would be fighting a guy who has moved down from higher weight classes instead of fighting 154 pounders who have moved up.Last edited by ShoulderRoll; 08-04-2013, 09:48 PM.Comment

He has no credentials as a world title challenger at any weight class, none at all.Comment

Like i've said before i dont care who he faces, but i'd rather it be Stevens over mora cuz his style is horrible to watch. I'm fine with it. Its just odd how stevens became this legend overnightComment

He's only had 3 fights at MW. People are so focused on last night but look at his fight just 3 months ago against FindleyComment

I would rather see how Golovkin fares with different styles over seeing another quick knockout. Curtis has a punchers' chance, so his chance is nonzero in that sense, but still pretty close to zero. Mora is a mover like Martinez and has a sturdy chin. He has no puncher's chance, but I think a Mora fight will answer a lot more questions than a Stevens fight.
Plus Mora has a recent win over a guy who was recently a top 10 guys and should have a win over a guy who ring has at #10. (EDIT: Actually, they just removed Vera and added Rubio)Last edited by DoktorSleepless; 08-04-2013, 10:08 PM.Comment

If GGG's next fight is against someone that has world title challenger credentials then no one will complain. But the whole problem is that he can't find anyone like that.
That's all I'm saying. Those are the only guys calling GGG out and at least Stevens brings excitement.Comment

If he takes this fight for exposure and to stay busy I understand should be fun while it lasts.Comment
