Mayweather and Marquez are on a bigger decline than Pacquiao. However, Marquez/Mayweather have always relied on technique and boxing ability. I'm not saying Pacquiao doesn't have anything but Marquez and Mayweather are guys that do things technically right.

Guys like Roy Jones had an abrupt decline because he always relied on his natural gifts and didn't have the technical abilities of a Marquez or a Mayweather

        Op is obviously trolling lol.
But Pacman is in more decline, his punch resistance is gone, and his footwork is gone, JMM still has the fast combos and he was never a mover, Floyd was moving way better than Pacman and still had the reflexes.

The sharp decline is seen in Pacman, mainly because he relied on his physical tools and explosive speed to win.

          Peanut gallery:

          Floyd runs...

Floyd knows not to stand & trade with (insert fighter)...

Buuut when he does...his legs are gone, smh...I'm not saying not to have an opinion, I'm just saying, make up your mind on what side of the fence you want to stand on.

Thread starter mentioned the Mosley fight...just throwing the age thing out there, Foreman was old as $h!t when he KO'd Moorer...power is the last thing to leave a fighter.

Ortiz wasn't doing ish...if he was being so effective, he wouldn't have had the melt down! I've never seen a guy "doing so well" in the biggest fight of his life, have a melt down!!! Smfh

I'm pretty sure if most guys got caught with the same punch from Marquez they would go down. I don't think we can really tell how much Pacquiao has declined based off one KO loss. He looked pretty good vs Marquez besides the knockdowns.

Marquez lost his legs before the Diaz and Casamayor fights. He use to move a lot more and not be as offensive and was known as a counter puncher. Guys avoided JMM because he made fighters look bad and his fights could be considered "boring" back in the day.

Marquez realized his legs were gone and adapted a more aggressive counter punching style. PErhaps it was not really a choice as he had to adapt in order to keep fighting at a high level. Either way Marquez is a beast and I am surprised he was able to almost change his style and remain at the top of the game.

The thing is also, Marquez chin got better as he got older, his butt never touched the canvas one time against Pacman in the third and 4th fight, dude found the fountain of youth.

Pacman on the other hand dropped like a sack of bricks from the same overhand right that he used to take over and over. part of decline is ability to take a punch, look at Baldomir he used to take a good punch than Canelo knocked him out similar to Pacquiao face first and out cold.

              Pac is done.

This hilarious.....its funny how everybody Floyd fights is supposed to be " the guy" thats gonna finally beat him *NEWS FLASH* It aint happening. After rd 2 Shane was beat thoroughly, Against Ortiz, he won every rd, ppl act like Victor really was doing something. Yeah he landed a few shots, but nobody saw how Floyd toyed with him and even grab his head, smiled, then dodged a slow ass punch, before being head butted. The topic of discussionis always Floyd's "sucker punch", but never Victors "legal" head but, Cotto did a little better but still dominated and almost stopped late. Ghost ..... not even worth mentioning. Clearly came for a check. Didn't deserve to share the same ring with floyd. Canelo will lose next month to. Oscar, Pac and the rest of Floyds haters need to REALIZE that floyd aint losing no time soon if ever.

He's still got the handspeed, but his footwork and mobility has declined a lot in comparison to his peak years. Now I know the first thing people will point to after reading this is the Guerrero fight, but Guerrero was a very sloppy, average C+ fighter in my opinion. Before that fight the Floyd groupies all talked him up to be such a credible beast that could end Floyd's unbeaten run, when in reality anyone who watched tape on the dude could see he wasn't elite class and had nothing that could threaten Floyd. Plus he had only two previous bouts at Welterweight... Seeing the reaction after that fight was hilarious, everyone calling him the GOAT after beating the beast that is Guerrero.

Now this brings me to the Mosley, Cotto and Ortiz fights. Against Mosley Floyd showed tremendous grit and determination to stand his ground after those brutal blows that he got caught with. But Mosley was 37 going on 38 and Floyd was 33. Floyd got caught badly in that fight by a guy 5 years his senior and looked very flatfooted.

Against a shot Cotto he was getting outmuscled and tagged like he's not used to being. His stamina was great but again he was getting into situations that are unusual for a guy like Floyd, there was one round against him that was the most dominant i've seen against Floyd and again he didn't look fleet footed at all.

Against Ortiz he looked the worst of the three I've mentioned in my opinion. Ortiz was doing pretty damn well before he blew a fuse and broke down mentally. Ortiz was tagging him with the straight left, outmuscleing him, and walking through his shots. Mayweather looked again flat footed and a lot less mobile and light on his feet than Ortiz. Floyd felt threatened in that fight which I believe played a part in him dishing out that cheap shot.. justifiable or not.

Pacquiao recently lost his last two fights. The first was a clear as day robbery and the second was against a roided up Marquez. Despite the fact that he lost these fights he still showed that he has ''it''. His physical attributes are still there, before the Marquez KO we could see that the speed, power, footwork and explosiveness is still there, maybe not 2009 levels but it's still there regardless.
You are entitled to your own opinion, as am I to mine, and I disagree. I also believe Manny isn't as "gone" as people want to believe he is, we will see, the Rios fight should be telling. Floyd doesn't look declined at all, some say he is a bit slower, I don't see it, and I rewatch the fights of both them them all the time.
