Okay But why would he fight handicapped like that, if his left is stronger would u want full swing to KO sum1. (if really Left) To me that just make his left hook 1 punch KO even more impressive to know he can punch harder than that.

Andre is a good trainer so he definitely drilled the right into him. By Andre I mean Andre Rozier...
Apologies then. Good to know he can always put his body behind his left hand one day in a southpaw stance, and expect devastation.

The message isn't really that loud when the guy(Roman) that Stevens KO'd had been already KO'd 6 times(out of his 9 defeats).. It was just a matter of time before Stevens landed a good shot & did it in the very first round.. It would make an interesting fight cause both have power, but Golovkin has definitely faced the better opposition & has handle them well with no problems(except when he faced Rosado, but Golovkin was sick a couple of days before the fight & still did good) & another thing is that Stevens has already been stopped(in 8) by Venezuelan Marcos Prima who was 19-15-2-12KO's & Prima had been stopped 4 times before he faced Stevens..With that said I give Golovkin a very big edge against Stevens.. But like Larry Merchant says, "Boxing is the theater of the unexpected" & anything could happen(especially when 2 big punchers face each other) & We won't know till the fight gets done..

But when he goes for a KO with it he usually squares up because he pivots at the same time to setup his left.

Edit: his southpaw stance isnt that great from what ive seen in sparring. Like a Cotto. When Cotto switches you dont expect fireworks from his left either. Just the way they were brought up.
i dunno if he when for the KO against Saul at the time when it happened lol , almost like he didn't know his own strength type of shot, Drop him with an extended arm, made it look easy compared to the effort of JMM's body & Fist put behind his KO.

A lot of fighters lead & have lead with their strong hand, Cotto, De La Hoya, Pacquiao, Fraizer, Calderón(even thou he no power, he fought as a southpaw & was actually right handed) Michael Moore & Zab Judah just to name a few....

They say they don't deserve a shot at GGG as if hes a Top Draw. LMAO!!!!

The Guy Called your Guy out, is he gonna Duck?

Even though i think GGG wins, he dont need you fans to protect him.
Curtis Stevens is rubbish mate, Jesse Brinkley nearly knocked him out!

GGG isn't just a hard case, hes extremely polished, well rounded world class boxer with devastating power, I would be suprised if this went past 3 rounds!

Stevens is not in a good position to get a fight with a top tier guy such as GGG -- he would be a high risk/low reward opponent -- guys ahead of him in the rankings will avoid him -- unfortunately, he doesn't have a big "name" for the boxing community to pressure the elite guys to fight him -- I hope he gets his shot because he deserves it and would pose a real challenge for anyone

GGG fans will claim Floyd is ducking GGG while simultaneously citing reasons why the middleweight shouldn't have to fight guys at 168 or 175. Go figure.

Curtis ain't ready...but he won't ever be ready for GGG, so I guess if he's gonna get a shot he might as well get it now...when Brinkley started tagging up Curtis he went into survival mode...what's gonna happen when GGG hits him with a few good shots?

GGG obviously has the more polished career so far, and FWIW he had a better amateur career (both had solid ones)...I guess Curtis feels he can catch GGG in a firefight...problem is he thinks GGG should worry bout his power when it may be the other way around...

I give Curtis a chance but I would take GGG within 6 rounds...
