I'm not even worried about this in the least bit, unlike the boxing business, these media companies leave pride at the door when negotiating. To much $ on thenline, they'll figure it out.

In the long run this will hurt Showtime cause they won't get as many buys for the PPV. Who is gonna drop a WHOLE provider over one network?

The thing is will they come to their senses before September but doesn't Time Warner own HBO? This is going to def hurt Floyd vs. Canelo exposure and ppv buy numbers.

I never missed a Floyd Mayweather PPV since the first time he headlined against Arturo Gatti.

I;ve ordered every single one.

They removed the Mayweather vs. Canelo ppv from their list so they are not going to offer it. I don't think they will come to an agreement before September this fight is so close only a month and few days away.

No you don't need to have showtime to order a showtime ppv, but Time Warner is not offering anything from Showtime or CBS, they removed the Mayweather Canelo ppv advertisement from their ppv page.

I am not going to switch up my cable provider for one fight though, I guess im just going to have to stream this. I hope they can come to terms before September.

Seems Showtime wants the subscribers to call Time Warner and complain to have the channel back or else they will switch providers.

Like hectari said, no you don't. But the problem here is that Time Warner isn't offering ANYTHING related to Showtime.

Some people on this thread are either ****** or just ignorant. Time Warner Cable didn't just drop Showtime, they dropped CBS as well. TWC dropped both channels because CBS president Les Moonves decided not to pay them for such exorbitant fees just to carry the network. It is NOT because of dropped ratings or Floyd's last fight.
