Which is exactly what is wrong with boxing.

Not only do they waste our money but the careers of their fighters. The best place to ask about PPV would be a boxing forum. But they disregard us, turn the hype machine on and get the cogs running.

The casual market > boxing fan base, so they don't care about who Luke Campbell is fighting, as long as he's fighting. Now where's the value in seeing a highly competent boxer in with a Latvian train driver who walks around grunting with his hands glued to his head?

It's no wonder the term 'hypejob' is synonymous with British fighters because the media spews a load of shit and most lap it up. Don't respond to me if you won't shake off that ****** 'business perspective' shit. It's a thread asking for a personal opinion, you aren't representing a company here.

Agreed with a lot of points but Campbell isn't a hypejob, he's had one fight, relax man, the guy can box.

But yeah, this fight shouldn't be a PPV, it's laughable and I too could care less about the "business aspect" this is a thread about opinions and what is right for boxing fans.

Absolutely not. Taking away all the other factors and just judging the fight on it's own merit - it's not PPV worthy. Groves is a nobody.

Yes. Lots of ppl will be willing to pay for it so not making it a PPV would be passing up on lots of money. That said ppl shouldnt be that excited, groves hasnt proved that he belongs in the same ring as froch let alone earned the right. Its a mismatch, ppl shouldnt be willing to pay for it but they are and thats all the suits care about.

Look at audley, why anyone would want him on the stages hes been after ****ing up over and over again i will never know. But ppl want to see him only to complain afterwards when he does what he always has. Far worse than froch-groves ofcourse but just to make an example.

I'll be interested in seeing the results of this, should Groves beat Froch.

                    This issue.

Worded poorly as I am on my phone.

I'm more curious to know if people think Haye-Fury is PPV worthy and if yes, why more than this one.

If Groves wins, that doesn't suddenly mean it was PPV worthy all along....?
