i just cant help but think of roy jones v glen johnson....
that sounds right to me. Rios isnt that good but pac is on the decline and is way past it. I wanna say the main factor in this one would be how long rios can last in there, how long he can withstand the punishment. but then again, that ko pac endured couldve drastically changed him. 60/40 sounds good to me
As a fan of Rios, and he did disappoint me against Alvarado...I'd like to add that he's finally fighting in a division he should have been at a long time ago. This is his rightful division, so one can only expect him to be stronger. That's a plus, but Rios seems not to articulate himself the way he used to although he's never been a good speaker, so maybe the punishments have caught up to him...I don't know really. I guess we'll have to see.

Forgetting Mannys K.O loss to Marquez, Rios is made for Manny.
Hes slow and painfully limited, he has no defense is the definition of a face-first brawler.
Hes had about 2 fights at 140, never even fought at welterweight.
Hes never fought anybody with power his whole career except Alvarado who is a rather moderate puncher who stops guys via an accumulation.
To my knowledge hes never fought a southpaw.
Unless Mannys punch resistance has gone completely I fully expect him to absolutely rip apart Rios who is nothing but an average club fighter. Manny obliterates guys like Rios the only question is what has that shot done to his punch resistance?
I'm not sure if Pacquiao could still stand the beating when he gets pushed on the ropes which is always a highlight in many of his fights. He'll get destroyed this time. A lot of times he does this thing like covering his face with his gloves and motion his opponent to hit him. It's probably dangerous for him to do that in this fight. But let's see.
