Hmm... I'm confused. Are Broner fans against Broner fighting Thurman?
But lemme first ask, who wins between Thurman vs Maidana?

Chaves or THurman sparks broner the hell out and I like broner. Chaves was throwing real power and had decent defense and a good chin. Any guy thinking Thurman can't beat Broner I really hope that fight gets made

So if Thurman beats Maidana, why do I feel like Broner fans want Maidana, instead of Thurman? What am I missing?

maidana does have the bigger wins. and besides mathysse, this is the biggest fight for broner rite now. this was the number 2 choice on the fans list according to the ring poll. fighting maidana is not a bad thing at all.

Rees is not a better offensive fighter than DeMarco no matter how you look at it, that's equivalent to me saying...Mitchell touched up Floyd, Floyd is very hittable. One has to gauge the threat in front of them and there was absolutely no reason for Broner to put any emphasis on defense. You think Broner is gonna stand in front of Thurman while being dismissive of him, all smiles and showboating...I strongly doubt that.

Go watch that fight again it's subtle things that chaves and thurman were doing defensively that makes me think they both can win. And both guys are big wws broner from the paulie fight doesn't look like he belongs at ww yet, and while his defense is good it's no where near floyds he needs work before he starts fighting bigger guys

As I see those gifs above, all I can think about is Soto-Karass beating on Berto. Broner's shell is better than Berto's, but it isn't flawless. Thurman doesn't have the work-rate of Karass, but has more power/speed/accuracy. I know, strange comparison.

Anyways, I would give Thurman the best chance to beat Broner of all the WWs.

Chavez beats Broner. In fact, Broner won't beat any half decent welterweight with respectable power. If there's 1 fighter that's easy to hit, it's Broner. Thurman sparks the half ******ed floyd wannabe in less than 6 rounds.

Furthermore why is Broner not vacating his lightweight title?? Is that because he can beat Thurman, that's one weird way of showing it. Scurrying back down to lightweight.
