Broner didnt "want" to get hit. Yea he didnt respect him at all but he is absolutely hittable. If Rees can hit you, so can thurman and he would hit him with 10X the force. Broner's entire career has been bullying his opponents. That wont happen with thurman

What's the point in having power when you won't be able to land it?
Thurman is not slow. His is rather selective and pretty damn accurate. Saying thurman wouldnt land is pretty ridiculous. Broner wouldnt fight him like he has everyone else

you don't have to land punches to win fights. you ever seen calzaghe-hopkins? even the paulie-broner fight was close even though broner was the one landing cleanly. if thurman throws hard punches that hit broner's guard then circles away broner is having a long night. broner still probably gets the decision though because he's a haymon hype job.

I agree with you on this 27. Thurman showed ingenuity in the chaves fight but Broner is a step up in pedigree. I wouldn't say Broner kos Thurman but I see him winning the d solid.

Thurman vs broner would be a good fight, two hype jobs that are really good, just not great.
