What does Maidana gain in fighting Thurman? Big money? A real belt? Fame? Maidana has been around a long time. This fight seems to be a nothing fight for him.

If you remember last year, Maidana backed out of a fight with Keith Thurman because he wanted a "tune-up". Well is 2 fights enough?

Thurman aint all that IMO....its just a matter of time before he gets rocked and iced!!....but Chino did duck him and he dipped on Bradley as well....I like Chino but it is what it is!!

Sounds like a scared fighter to me. Why does it have to be for a title? And why did pull out of the Thurman fight last year? Hmmmm

because they fight for money...and Thurman was not a prize fighter back then..

would you get in a ring with someone and get paid coins??? they do it for the money, not for fun

Call it what you want but it was the smart thing to do. Thurman wasn't going anywhere and now look, it's a great fight to be made.
