there's absolutely no reason why this fight can't get made. none. they're both promoted by gbp and managed by haymon. testing is also a non issue, i don't think anyone will ask. this fight is not hard to make. let's see what happens.

Because Thurman is his mandatory. Obviously if the wba allows broner to fight someone else first that's fine, otherwise it will be like Golovkin and how the wba elevated him to regular champ when Geale dropped his belt.

Thurman needs a few more bouts with the likes of Geruerro or even Paulie!
He needs a little more experience to get ready for bigger fights. This was his biggest and all though he won big he needs more seasoning. Broner does everything better for now and size is virtuely the same!
One more year and 3 fights and Thurman can try to step up to the top tier guys! Right now his jab needs to be straightened out and he needs better defense and better conditioning. He got rattled a few times in the fight and one of the times could have gotten in trouble if Chavez could have followed up but he couldn't!! He'll get his chance but they better move carefully! If he does fight Broner it should be much later on to secure a bigger fight $$$$$$$! Ray.
