When will posters understand Just because a fight involving an al haymon client isn't signed immediately doesn't mean the A side is ducking.

I still expect the maidana fight to come off, and the news he didn't relinquish doesn't really change anything.
what kind of mental gymnastics r u attempting here. lol

so u think the 135 belt wont be stripped from him if he stays at 147 and vice versa?

u know what's rare since we are talking about rarity? a fighter holding two belts in two different classes that skip over a weight class. If they are gonna be reigning champs in two weight classes at the same time, the weight classes are almost always going to be consecutive. 140, 147. 147, 154. Like that. And that's even rare. But, 135 and 147? Nah man.

Furthermore, its semantics you are plying here. Whether he vacates or is vacated, he still would have made the choice to leave the weight class the belt is relevant to. He will have made the choice, knowing full well it would vacate him, so he would be, in all intents and purposes, vacating.

      lol.

Its speculation for now. Just because Broner is not vacating his LW Crown don't meant hes not going to fight at WW.
WBC & WBA are 2 different organizations he can hold both if he wants to.

        It goes like This:

If the fighter can still make weight he can hold as may belts as he wants in more than one division. I think Broner can make 135 - 147 maybe 154.

Floyd = WW + LMW Crowns
Marquez = LWW Crown but hopes for Bradley WW Crown.

Maybe Broner wants to add to history and hold 3 crowns at once LW+LWW+WW. qoute "Being best ever." just as much speculation as bleacher report.

Whats hard to understand. Broner has not voluntarily vacated his strap at 135. That is not odd. Will he be stripped? Probably not right away so he has time. Does that say anything about the 147 belt and the maidana fight? Not really. As long as they are not from the same orgs, and they aren't, there's nothing that keeps him from holding both belts at the same time until he's stripped.

U guys seriously think he's going to campaign at both 135 and 147? What he gonna take turns? cut 12 lbs every other fight or something. Thanks for the laugh, That is ludicrous...

and he doesn't seem to want anything to do with 140, so bump the 3 division thing u r talking about

            Y'all r too much lol

Broner has said so himself out of his own mouth after beating Paulie ass "135 +140 +147" are the divisions he will fight at.

and he will be stripped. From one or the other. Sanctioning bodies aren't gonna hold a belt for a beltholder that holds titles that skip a weight class. And him being stripped is a direct result of what choice he makes about what weight class he wants to campaign in.

Him acting like he wants to keep the belt at 135 is worrisome. Because he can't have both. Dude playin games.

IF Broner can make weight he will do it, if not he will vacate one title. simple. Speculate all you want. This is a rumor until Boner actually vacates 147WBA.

I'll believe 140 when I see it. and 147 was against magic man, who hits like a lightweight anyway....

Its llike guys are more interested in proving fighter a is scared of fighter b and they care more about fighter a supposedly ducking then they do the actual fights being made. And gthen when the fights are made "oh fighter a was forced". This has become the norm on this site
