Not any 2 but if its 2 out of the top 3, then yes they can,,, Thats how pretty much any vacant lineal championship becomes determined,, much like how khan vs garcia filled the gap when bradley left.. its #1 guy vs 2 or 3... If floyd retired today then the welter championship would probably be the winner of jmm/bradley...

How is it that he beat Abregu after moving up in weight who has since gone on to continuously win in convincing fashion against guys who were supposed to easily beat him? Dolurme was supposed to be "the next great boxer" and Abregu stomped a mudhole in him.
Peterson beat Khan in a very close fight, destroyed Holt and was only beaten by Matthysse, a KO machine that, for all intensive purposes, is pretty much still undefeated to this day.
Bradley somehow was the only guy able to beat Alexander. As I just alluded to, he did get a decision win over Matthysse which is pretty debatable but he still has the win on his record.
Ruslan, only had one SD loss on his record out of 30 fights and it was highly controversial, he admitted that he did not train properly before that fight but it seems like everyone besides himself thought he more than deserved that win.
If the guys that Bradley has fought and beaten are "c" level as you put it then there really are no A to B level fighters, they are all mediocre and the only athletes worthy of high praise are Mayweather, and the Klitchkos.
Even Wlad has losses on his record, so maybe he is only a "B" level fighter himself and just relies on his physical superiority to defeat the vast majority of his opponents. That would explain why he didn't want to fight Valuev because his decided advantage would not be there. That could be one way to look at it but I don't think that is the case, still it would put one's accomplishments into perspective wouldn't it?Comment

Because this is boxing and rarely to the top 2 guys ever fight,,, remember manny vs floyd, bradley vs floyd now, or when ward was crowned #1 even though Bute was thought of as the #2... It happens all the time
When floyd "retired" as welter champ,,, Cotto was looked at the #1 guy and Margs #3,,,,, Paul williams was #2 because he beat margs the year before,,
Yet Margs beating cotto made him #1 and then shane beat him, and floyd beat shane.....Comment

Really then how does one fill a vacant lineal champ,,, Shane gets credit for beating margs who beat cotto in the biggest welter fight when floyd ducked out,, and floyd is recognized as lineal champ because he beat shane,,,,,,
How did they fill the lineal championship when calzaghe retired... Dawson was assumed to be the best, he beat adamek, tarver, johnson,, then lost to pascal who got beat by hopkins who lost to dawson who lost to stevenson,,, everybody thinks stevenson as the true champ, yet a #1 and #2 never foughtComment

so in theory you would take a job for 2 mil as oppose to any easy job for 1 mil plus another harder job for 5 mil

Its not like he ducked khan and then went and fought pauli or zab,,, he went for manny..

Margarito beat Cotto but he lost to Williams. Margarito vs Williams II would have made a new lineal champion.
Floyd is/was recognised as the lineal champion because he beat Baldomir.
Yeah and you don't. Shock. The point is Bradley refused to fight him (for whatever reason) so he never proved he was the man at 140.Comment
