Doesn't THAT Prove that Manny never wanted it? The fact that he would make every excuse not to take the test, ask for cutoff dates, lie about when he was able to test and finally walk away from the biggest fight EVER, only to be able to accept the same terms 4-5 month later, not to mention demand those very same drug tests from B Level fighter for FAAARRRRRRR less money says everything we need to know. If you don't understand that in business merger, the bigger, more profitable company has a stronger hand in negotiations, the you should stay out of discussing business transactions. Makes no sense. It's pure ducking! Don't know why you feel this line of thinking should only apply to Floyd and not Manny as well.

Who wins? The fans win.I have Floyd winning by UD, Manny winning rounds 1-4. I envision an all out war from start to finish, in which Floyd goes down twice early, but rallies back like Marquez, but unlike Marquez, there is no controversy and Floyd wins by a good margin on points, due to more accurate countering, ring generalship, and his ability to adjust midway and stay one step ahead of his opponent strategically. Thoughts?
I know this isn't a new topic by any means, but the old master thread is gone, and there is no where else to discuss it, and it's still an attractive fight, at least to me.Comment

I had Mayweather via very wide decision back when the fight was relevant.
Now? Either an absolute beatdown in the 118-109 range or even a stoppage. Mayweather beats him up.Comment

Not true floyd asked for one thing and agreed to all of the demands the first time pac man didnt he even sued i dont think pac was afraid i think it was more of pac listening to others who were smarter in the business of boxing and propaganda and random testing until the day of the fight not a cut off date or saying you agree in an interview and not signing a contract to say you agree most people like to blame floyd because of his public persona fake thug mannerisms and and to be honest the color of his skin but simply the only person to ever agree to demands was mayweather he had only one arum had many but for whatever reason boxing is a business and like i said i dont think it was pac more than it was the so called business men he listens todoesn't that prove floyd never wanted it? pac agreed to all his ****** demands and floyd still didn't fight. it's not like floyd agreed to all pacs demands and pac didn't fight. why say they are both to blame? when one guy demonstrated he never wanted the fight? what more can pac do? accepted the tests earlier sure but that would have just revealed the truth earlier. what matters is was floyd willing to fight and the answer is clearly no. pac was willing to fight and even do things he didn't want to do to make it happen. floyd wasn't willing to fight even when he got everything he wanted. it made no sense. its pure ducking.Comment

While I agree w/ your sentiment, and hope you won't take offense, but that whole paragraph was one long run on sentence, with no period at the end. It makes it hard to understand you with no punctuation. Punctuation=Your Friend!

It was also about being ACCUSED by Floyd and his team then also GB got in on it. I was actually surprised he even continued to negotiate at that point. Being called a cheater was not good for Manny in both his boxing and political world.Doesn't THAT Prove that Manny never wanted it? But then when it all cooled down and Manny said let's get this guy in the ring and I will let my gloves do the talking.
but you need to ask yourself this question, why was Floyd always coming up with new roadblocks if he wanted it? Now he came up with another one. Does that sound like someone who really wants the fight?
As for asking PEDs testing now, it doesn't take a genius to know why. It was reported that the same admitted PEDs cheat will be helping Rios. You know the guy who helped Marquez KO Manny in his last fight.Comment

JMM passed all the tests. You saying he is dirty is the same thing as floyd sr. saying it about manny. Same reasoning, same proof. It was also about being ACCUSED by Floyd and his team then also GB got in on it. I was actually surprised he even continued to negotiate at that point. The things you call roadblocks are not roadblocks for any other fighter. Manny asked rios for OSDT, was that a roadblock? NO, because rios said sure. WHen Manny wont give a fair money offer you blame the other guys for refusing. yet when floyd does it to manny you blame floyd. when TR makes guy sign to TR to fight manny you don't complain. When floyd suggests same you whine.
STop with the double standards for manny.Comment
