Doesn't this whole thing seem exploitative of the Chinese consumer to anyone else? Basically Arum is selling them a polished turd. If the guy was a clear talent it would be different, but the guy really doesn't have the stuff. He has fast hands but that is about it. I know he is just adjusting to additional rounds, but he gassed terribly and the other kid was landing power punches at a ridiculous rate for someone who is just there to be a body. At least Arum could break into the market with a legitimate product rather than a C- at best level talent.

De La Hoya headlined his first pro fight as well and guess what it was a 6 rounder, Amir khan was another guy who was in the main event for his first fight, that was a four rounder. Those were all big events

And this is what a couple hard head have such a hard time understanding. The card was not an HBO card, it was held in china and HBO simply showed it. It didn't block anything from happening other then taking the time slot of a True Blood re-run or some other crappy show
