I don't doubt your honesty. We just assess the match up differently. It's not Floyd's fault that the fight was never made. I'm just saying it's one fight that's not on his resume. And there are more than a few like that. Fair or not, this is why we're debating his legacy. While no such debate is necessary for Duran. Absolutely none. That's the real difference IMO.

That is lame as hell because Pac was not at his prime when he fought at Flyweight. You can't even make an analysis of the fight.

We differ again because I don't see 1 fight that Floyd has not fought that he should've fought. Floyd's legacy is intact up until this point. In order for me to consider your point of view, there had to be a potential guy who he didn't fight that was more than capable of beating him, and there are none. Not even a suggestion. The difference between Floyd and Duran is resume. Duran had the big 4 while Floyd didn't.

@Frank, you nailed it with the last sentence. I think Floyd's legacy would more respected if he had Paq, Williams, Margs, Kostya, Martinez, GGG added to his resume. The latter two are equivalent to the balls shown by Duran when he stepped into the ring with Hagler.

Oh we don't doubt Duran at all, we're on the same page as far as Duran lol. It's Floyd where we differ. I respect your opinion on the matter. Duran would've been fighting a Floyd who would make him miss. Even if he trapped Floyd, Floyd escapes to center ring with a blazing left hook in return. Floyd won't be able to hurt Duran, or could he? Could he outbox him? Of course.

Floyd's mind is his most dangerous weapon against any opponent. I think that Floyd would stand still more than Leonard. Leonard didn't go to Duran's body. He tried, and then he would go head hunting. He couldn't hurt Duran upstairs.

Floyd knows that if he can't hurt you, he breaks you down. His mind is why he wins, and he has one of the best boxing minds ever produced by any fighter regardless of who he fought or didn't fight. I can only go on who he fought, not who he could've fought. Duran is right. Those guys would've given Floyd hell. All of those guys are naturally bigger than Floyd too.

Could Floyd Chico Hearns-yep. Hearns for all of his vaunted power didn't really hurt Sugar in fight 1. But that's a hard, hard fight. Sugar went up to mw and beat Hagler. Could Floyd, if he muscled up like Sugar...go up and beat Hagler-yep.

But I say this, to say this. His style can, but he didn't start at ww. I can only imagine Floyd going from 130-140 and that's it. Floyd would've beat Aaron Pryor too. Floyd and Duran at 135 and both in their prime is a night of legends.

Floyd breaks you down. He will break Canelo down, but it will take time. The kid Canelo can fight.

Ah so your rules say you got to be dazed while prime , another Manny double standard .

You want a real accurate analysis , the guy that KOED Manny was schooled by Floyd in cruise control , so that must mean by your own criteria that Floyd schools Manny .

Like I said before your just a hater full of biased triangle theories of woulda coulda and shoulda , its just hate driven fanboy fantasy .
