  • Atg's usually lose to very good fighters or other atg's. They don't get ktfo by guys like Torrecampo and Singsurat. And when Atg's usually do lose, but they never get ktf unconscious and have to be awakened by smelling salts.

    • There are posters here who think that Floyd Sr was as good as or better than Floyd Jr. Sick right?

people only think of duran 80's but that was past his prime, he was just a big name..

similar to oscar and shane in the 2000's... Big names but past their primes...

wont stop people 20 years from now saying shane and oscar were bums, they lost all their big fights to cotto, floyd, hopkins, and manny
Don't forget, Duran moved on to beat Davey Moore @ JR Middle, and Iran Barkley @ Middle Weight. The two best in their class at the time ( and Champions ). When He was 10/15 years out of his prime, and 20/25 lbs above his real weight class. Duran was no quitter!

don't think he would have been able to handle durans constant pressure. Floyd is great but hes know srl. he would have won but also lost some big fights if he was in that era

          • Floyd has avoided all real challenges at welter but would beat the four legends?lmao floyd wouldnt even go into the ring with any of them and his fans would claim he would just beat them. A prime margo and williams would of given floyd hell that says it all

Maybe he wouldn't be undefeated but regardless of his era his skill level is off the charts as is his dedication to his craft. He would be elite and a tough match in any era
sounded like what he meant was hed lose some fights as all those big names did in that era fighting each other

                  • In my humble opinion , having watched him from the beginning, Duran would have made JR chopped liver, stomped him and spit on him with his foot on his chest

JR ain't #### compared to those guys

Manny has a proven track record of fighting the very best, especially at the lower weights....
Sorry but Floyd is ranked higher than Manny as the best at 130 and to say Manny has a proven track record at fighting the best is false. Especially at WW. He fought a bunch of guys Floyd fought and some coming off loses when they were not at their best. To top it off. You say JMM fights were epic but Floyd made easy work of JMM after being semi retired. Manny is good but should not be mentioned with any of the top tier guys. He was matched made to look to be someone that was a threat to Mayweather.
