Yea but Floyd complained about a shoulder injury from the SECOND round. Its not like he made up the excuse after the fight. He talked about it from the very beginning. Why didnt Castillio do that in the second fight? Because that plan will not work.

O maybe because pbf made adjustments in camp to face castillo instead of the first fight. Like i said regardless of excuse or whathever castillo acomplished pbf deserved a loss on his record and the praise for winning the rematch showing his ability to adjust and learn crom his mistakes simliar to rios al arado 1 and 2

He DID lose to Castillio. But he complained of a shoulder injury from the SECOND round. Not in the 9th round, or the 11th, or in the post fight intervew. He was complaining before he knew he couldnt win. He won the rematch simply because he was healed. Nothing complicated about it bro.

The problem with Floyd is that he only throws one punch or 2 at a time... He's a great defender, maybe greater than Pernell (it would be a though fight).... and is always waiting to counter, then he moves out of the way... I've always thought that to beat him you have to do it with activity and stay close enough so he cannot use his reach... I think Duran at 130 or 135 would have been too much for him... at welter not so much... Hagler would have also beaten him... Hearns was taller and had a greater reach than Mayweather... He also had great power and a great jab, which would work against Mayweather (as proven by Cotto)... I think Hearns would have beaten him too... Of the 4 horsemen, I think the best chance of victory for Mayweather would be against Sugar Ray... SR was fast, explosive, threw lots of punches and had underrated power, but his jab and defense was not the best and Mayweather would capitalize on it... Though fight... but maybe Mayweather would take it.... Below welter, I also think Pryor and Chavez would have beaten him...

The onus is on you not me. You're the one trying to make the argument that Floyd's weakness is being attacked to the body. Is the 1st Castillo fight from 11 years ago where he complained of being injured from almost te very beginning the best that you can do? If so, then you haven't done very much to prove your argument.

floyd is great, but overrated, he can't handle intelligent pressure, lost vs castillo, and was getting worked by hatton and cotto but both have crap stamina

and yes, although hatton wasn't the most clever in the ring, his gameplan was solid enough(fient the right, throw a straight left to negate the shoulder roll), a little more defense and if his stamina wasn't so poor he could have taken floyd to hell

duran could very well kill floyd, floyd, and manny too, would be ****** to go to welter when monsters like leonard and hearns were around
