Before Jack hit the big time he was a huge brawler but even before Johnson boxing existed..hell boxing has been around since the earliest days of the original olympiads in rome..where it was cloth wrappings and no time limit..mofo's fought until someone couldn't stand anymore.
Leonard, Pep, Mims, Joyce, Tunney, Williams, Johnson, Gans were far from brawlers.

Yeah right senior. You ducked him like a plague when he was relevant. Easy fight for $150 million, according to your brother Roger. "Who would be crazy enough to refuse that kind of money?", says uncle Roger.

Pac has fought 3 guys coming off losses in the last 3 years. Mayweather hasn't fought a guy coming off a loss in 9 years. To quote a mod from philboxing as to why he laughs at how ****** the pact@rds are:

Each boxer that enters the ring has a puncher's chance.
Pacquiao got punched solidly and he decided to take the
        rest of the rounds off...

For some, no boxer has the right to win against Pacquiao.

The only boxer that can win against him is either lucky or
is a cheat--the twisted thinking goes.

To them, Pacquiao is almighty and invincible.

You do realize boxing had been around hundreds of years before these guys were born right? Johnson was a brawler until he got locked up after a fight and got schooled by an older white boxer who taught him how to slip a punch....

It takes some big balls to go in there with another man and throw caution to the wind plus aren't brawlers responsible for the greatest highlights in the history of the sport? Look I can appreciate the chess game of defensive boxing but I can go see that shh at the olympics or at the golden gloves..I enjoy seeing two mofo's going in there like wet angry roosters trying to *** each other up..where the majority of punches are thrown with malicious fight ending intent.
ITs like bulldogs, there are "PIT GENERAL"S that come along here at there and stand out the like the stars on a black night, some Hurricane Hugo that just destroys and makes the competition look normal,

I only disagree that Rocky was on something

I look at him like he was the Pit General or Hugo that Kept coming with KILLER intent

No matter how Floydie sr talked tons of demeaning Pac, and Pac continued his down-sliding, one thing and only one thing is for sure that could not be deny over time, that Floyd Jr refused to fight Pac while in his prime and on the top of the world. Whatever Floyd excuses today will become completely irrelevant over years! Both of them will go down to just history but no one could tell who the best was between the regarded two top best boxers because both refused to collide while it had the chance!

These are just a few accurate quotes from Floyd Sr when the pressure was on his son to fight Pac.

"That man is stronger than Samson"

"I feel for my son's life if he fights that man"

"I would strongly advise my son not to fight that man"

Now these are actual quotes he gave during interviews over at esb.
