the only reason this is considered a viable fight by any of the brits is the hatton angle. senchenko stopped ricky hatton. that's why this horrible fight will happen, and probably be relatively big.
That's what everyone was saying about Hatton Senchenko. And look what happened. Boner is not the beast you think he is. Styles make fights, Broner couldn't stop Paulie, I doubt he stops Senchenko.

I've watched the fight several times. Paulies jab did almost all of the damage. Senchenko was never even hurt in the fight until the 9th round when he couldn't deal with his eye anymore.
Senchenko was outclassed in that fight his eye looked horrible but it wasn't the beating you make it out to be. Now what Jones did to Lebedev was a beating. I'm not saying Senchenko is a world beater but people put to much emphasis on the fight with Paulie.

i don't think broner "is a beast," and i can assure you that i'm aware of the implications a fighters' style on a boxing match. the malignaggi showed many of broner's limitations. broner would still pound senchenko. senchenko wouldn't have anything at all for broner to trouble him stylistically, or to keep him away. you're talking about a fighter who was beat on and stopped by paulie flippin maglinaggi. how you think he fares better against adrien broner is beyond me.

the only reason he's even in the equation is the need brits are going to feel to get revenge for senchenko beating up ricky hatton's dead body.

I'm moving on from the Kell Brook hype. I'm not even convinced he could beat Frankie Gavin, let alone become a world champion. Senchenko is a joke who lost to Mallignaggi and was getting destroyed by a shot Ricky Hatton until Hatton's stamina, age, and long retirement caught up with him.

            Its reasonable/acceptable.

I feel its a better opponent than a Josesito Lopez coming fresh off three brutal fights back-to-back myself.

No lets be honest here Hatton looked awful and lost virtually every round, only the biased Brits/pro Hatton lot had him ahead. Course Hatton was ahead he was promoting it with some paid off judges.

If we are comfortably scoring that fight with no chip on our shoulder then Senchenko was well ahead and breaking him down and never once looked in any sort of trouble.

He certainly did not lose virtually every round. The fight was competitive until the later rounds when Hatton started to walk into more shots and slow down.

Senchenko is better than Euro level but not world class IMO. Fringe world level opponent. Which is about where Brook is himself.

I can't remember exactly how many rounds I gave him (3 maybe 4) and most early. But yeah I'll agree there it was competitive until around mid-point and I agree with the latter.

I think this is a good fight and Brooks team are being sensible here. Its a good step up and what he needs rather than being rushed.

Sensible move IMO and Senchenko would gladly come back to the U.K where he is known. I'm sure many Hatton fans would tune in hoping Brook could get the win.

I think Senchenko would trouble Broner because he's a full fledge ww, Broner isn't. I'm not saying Senchenko wins but Broner wouldn't blow threw him. You sound like all the people that were saying Hatton would destroy Senchenko. It was the exact same logic, Hatton beat Paulie and Paulie beat Senchenko. But look at what happened. You act like Hatton looked like complete **** and he didn't, he looked pretty good for a guy that hasn't fought for years.

I think it funny how you think Broner can go from dominating midgets to destroying a huge ww. He couldn't even really hurt Paulie who was stopped by Khan, who isn't much of a puncher.
