Sitting on my phone so that's the best I could do, but it confirms it.

It said he admitted to starting the "therapy" before the Khan fight, but no failed test at the time. Don't sweat it, Khan clearly got the raw deal there all around, as did Scott here. But I'd be really surprised if they reversed it, it's a big precedent

Dereck seemed pretty satisfied to me. It was clear which way the fight was heading.

This reminds me of the McCloskey-Khan controversy with McCloskey crying robbery when a head-clash ended the fight. Everyone knew which way the fight was going, much as they did here.

Just because things were going a certain way doesn't mean that you don't let the fight play out.

A lot can happen in boxing. Fighters have made comebacks before and turned things around when they were in far worse circumstances than Scott was.

"Bottom line, Malik was up at the count of nine. The key is the decision was ruled a KO and not a TKO and subsequently the referee is required to count to 10 or, at the least, not wave the fight off until a full 10 seconds had elapsed, which it did not. A TKO would have allowed the referee to call the fight anytime before the count of 10. We've requested the British Boxing Board of Control to review the video and have asked to have the KO result changed to a no-contest."

It seems a bit strong to me to have it turned into a N/C. It seems like Goosen is intent to protect Scott's unbeaten record, because that's really all he had going for him at the age of 32.

            What do you think?
Who cares he lost the ref can stop it if he thinks the fighter hasn't recovered just ask Meldrick Taylor and Ricard Steele

Yeah but it was deemed a KO not a TKO. So if the red didn't feel he was in a position to continue he should have just waived it off.

He was losing the fight, but that count is enough to get a NC in my eyes, wtf type of crap was that? Malik didn't even look hurt he was just regaining his equilibrium. That ref is foul as hell it reminded me of when Joe Calzaghe was about to gas out from throwing all those slaps at Peter Manfredo and not really hurting Peter but the ref knew that once Joe gasses out that Peter would probably rally back and than stops the fight before Manfredo can rally back.

The referee can stop the fight at any time. No controversy. Scott wanted out.

No they can't, they gotta make the case the fighter is in no position to continue, which would have been ridiculous here. Otherwise if they really wanna cheat the out of towner, they can resort to short counts.
