I don't blame Ricky though. Murray is a flavor of the month an building his name could help for a potential fight... but it's more of that cooking B.S we hate. Most likely a domestic fight
His promoter Peltz admitted it was 100K but Jennings seemed to have only heard the 25k lie from him.

N'Dam apparently ducked Golovkin for years, it would be surprising to see a u-turn. The other thing is that fight would last 1 round.
N'Dam held the WBA interm belt and after 2 years of ducking he relinquished the belt rather than unify with Golovkin. A Sturm fight would be more likely to happen.

N'Dam is in a bad position right now though, I think he may not even have a promoter. Maybe more receptive to Golovkin with half decent money attached to it?

You might be right. I read NDam was in the running for the Rosado date, but vetoed by HBO for being too chinny. At this point he's probably the best option, though Mora might be trickier

There's no excuse for Murray, they even said they'd fight him in the UK... definitely lost some of my respect, what a *****.
Did I miss something? I thought the article was about comments made by Hatton not Murray?

            So there we have it.

GGG is officially being ducked by Murray, Martinez, and Kid cocklate

Champ Martinez is taking more than 6 months off to recover from injuries, Geale says he will fight him, Barker's promoter had issues not Barker, Murray's promotor had issues, not Murray............if you want to place blame at least place it correctly.

Either fight lesser ranked guys, move down or move up.....problem solved. I'm sure Froch, Kessler, Ward or Bute would fight 3G and he can beat all of them and become famous while doing it.

hatton is his promoter. he doesn't want to see his fighter completely destroyed. just like dibella said golovking is too dangerous for martinez.

So is Murray going to avoid GGG like the Plaque?

Murray has been to Germany to fight Sturm and Argentina to face Sergio. Hardly think one can label him a cherry picker quite yet.

Hatton didn't explicitly say that the fight wasn't happening, just that GGG was one of several options. I don't think it'll happen, at least I got that much from Murray's post-fight reaction to GGG/Macklin. Barker didn't look too excited about the possibility of fighting GGG either.

Hatton promotes & trains fighters, it's evident he doesn't have enough time to do both as his fighters are severely lacking in activity. When Murray returns to the ring, I really hope it's against a contender at least.
