I think Chávez Jr., if he is able make 160, could be good fight and, definitely, Golovkin would get the biggest purse of his career. That would have to be late in the year or early 2014 though.

Hatton says he's had an offer from Golovkin's team, Murray says there was no offer, so which is it?

      Murray on Monday:

It was rumoured that Golovkin’s management team had offered Murray a fight with their man, but Murray claims that talks stopped once it was established he did not have a visa to fight in the USA.

It was all news to me. What had happened was his people spoke to mine and asked “What’s happening with Martin’s visa?” and we said “He hasn’t got it.” All of a sudden [it came out] they’d offered us a fight on November 2nd at Madison Square Garden. They’ve not made an offer.

Me and Golovkin could end up fighting. That’s definitely a fight I’d be interested in.

I still want to see JCC vs. Murray, than the winner should fight GGG. But of course, Chavez JR had to fight "fringe contender" Vera instead of fighting a ranked opponent like Murray.

Do you think Geale would fight GGG to unify the belts? Or would Geale duck him?

Chavez has tried to fight Murray a couple of times but Murray's visa situation prevented the fight being made.

Geale says he won't avoid him, but who knows. Really, if you're a fighter you should wait until the end of next year to fight Golovkin when the money will almost certainly be bigger.

Promoter didn't bother handing it down?

It's possible.... HBO would love it, Chavez would love it, but then again it's up to his godfather and uncle Bob

Hopefully, but I suspect his lack of 'name' recognition will mean HBO won't approve him.
