    If Khan had a chin..

Would he still of lost against Prescott and Garcia? Also what would his future look like?

I ask because I only just saw his fight against Garcia and he was dominating up until he got clipped. His boxing against Malignaggi was superb.

I honestly think he would have been competitive against Mayweather if he focused more on the technical side of boxing rather than being reckless and going to war which seems to be has natural instinct. I'm not saying he'd win but it would have been a very good fight for the following reasons:

    Khan's speed
    Throws combinations
Goes to the body more than others
    Moves around a lot

I see him as someone who could have had a lot of potential had he had a better chin and worked on pure boxing from an early stage. Either way he is still entertaining to watch now.

Khan CANNOT box. Forget his chin. People are up on his game. He runs in hyped up on god knows what....fires off 30-50 shots to the head, runs around the ring to catch his breath, runs in again with another 10-20 shots...and a big left hook is waiting for him!

It's hard to say, I have said this before, and I will reiterate my opinion. Khan has got very weak legs, his quads need to be built up much bigger and stronger if he wants any stability in a ring. Until he fixes the core root of where your balance and strength comes from, he will always struggle.

What kind of a chin are we talking about, cause he would need a Marvin Hagler-like chin to compensate for that shitty defense of his. Even then, you can still outscore him in close, you can still land head snapping shots, so he's still very beatable.

He would be great. His speed, and style is hard to beat. Put in a Margacheato chin and ... wow. But I've suspected his days are numbered right from the START when he boxed Gomez and Limond! But it's possible for him to adjust his style - not alter, but adjust. He needs some tuition from the likes of a Hopkins-Richardson duo. Or even a Pedro Diaz. Someone who can teach him lateral movement, to slip, roll ... we'll see if Hunter can do it ... but Khan was less than convincing in his last fight. Hmm. Such is life.

Firstly I knew someone would say something like that but what I've asked is completely different. Making Tyson the size you've said would give him an unspeakable advantage to how beastly he already was.

Secondly Tyson was trained very well and his style was made to suit his natural ability which were speed and power/explosiveness.

What I'm asking is imagine Khan being trained in a style to suit his abilities whilst having a decent chin. I don't think it's too far fetched of a question or thought to process.

I'm simply trying to see the potential that could have been but never will be.

He needs a chin and a different style, he just jumps in pretending to be Pacman throwing ****** easy to counter combinations but he can't punch with the power Pacy has from odd angles so the shots are slapping.
