There was a lot of late money on Malik so no surprise on the fishy ending. It is what it is, the cameras don't lie. Only in England
Just watched Chisora vs Malik Scott. The ref stopped it even though...

Scott looked like a finished man. I was expecting an outcry from him if he was genuine about continuing the fight. It seemed like he was OK with getting knocked out, which eliminates my displeasure with the stoppage.Comment

I was disappointed in Scott and the ref to be honest. I just watched it with some friends and three out of four of us were pulling for Scott. One of us said it was all the ref but I think these guys know if you're clear you don't wait till nine to get up because a lot of refs take that as a cue that the guy wants to save face by having you call it. The ref didn't have to call it but Scott didn't have to wait that long to get up. Scott really let me down. I thought he was a real contender. Chisora was taking his heart.Comment

This is the guy who took a pasting from Tyson Fury in sparring ahead of the Kevin Johnson fight, packed up his bags and disappeared with his tail between his legs. He has no heart, and as soon as Chisora turned up the heat on him he wanted out. Simple as that.Comment

whilst i can see the reasoning behind the guys that say Scott quit or was looking for an out, fact is he beat the count. the ref did not give him any chance to either signal his wanting to continue or not. bad reffing imo....he hadn't had counted to 10 yet and Malik was up and ready to fight. Scott was up at 9 and he looked clear to me, to me personally it looked as if the ref wanted to give Chisora the win. If Scott would have looked hurt, stumbling or anything, I would understand that the ref stops it, but he was never hurt in the fight and during the knockdown he looked clear all the time.
I mean I know the ref sees more than me and maybe Scott signalled him somehow that he doesn't want to continue, but from the outside it did not look like that.Comment

If he wasn't hurt or wanting a way out, why wait until the count of 9 has been reached? He didn't look hurt to me, could've easily got up at 6 and had a few seconds to clear his head, shouldn't have tried to play it so close...
It's all his fault.Comment

He was looking straight at the referee and following the count. As soon as the ref said 9 he immediately stood up.
Scott did nothing wrong.Comment

Why do you keep posting everywhere saying the ref had a ******** problem? You must have posted in at least 3 different threads with the same thing.
Are you trying to be funny? If so, you should understand that a joke is only funny once.Comment
