Naive to think that you following the rules would get you fake KO'd? Now you're accepting that the ref fcuked up but its scotts fault because he tried to use the 10 secs he's allotted?

Na bro I am talking about the first fight in the final round, Tony weeks was the ref, Castillo put him down a second time, watch weeks count .

This fight today was a walk in the park as compared to Corrales vs Castillo (who was the fight of the year in 2005)... Both fighter were badly shaken then...
Weeks could not afford to alter such a brutal fight...

You can clearly see he starts getting up at 9, but the moment the ref says 9, his hands go into the wave as he's standing up. If he said 10, Malik would have been off the canvas

And how do you know the ref didnt say 10 and wave within milliseconds of each other.

There are milliseconds in it since Scott was still getting up when the ref first raised his hands to wave it off, the ref could technically say he wasn't up if he was still getting up.

Still, he should have let him continue imo, it is poor form I think.

Nevertheless, Chisora was winning the fight and had just scored a k/d. I don't think we can take much away from him.

Its not common sense, its mostly nuthuggery and nationalism. I've posted the actual official rule of how the ref is suppose to count to 10 and then wave, but people make up their own rule that the wave substitutes for the #10, when the rule clearly states he must count to 10 and wave

How people are saying Scott has "nobody else to blame but himself" is beyond me. Its like blaming a fighter for getting robbed because he gave up the last round of a fight even tho he clearly won the fight
