Manny 's max is 1.25 mil with odh and cotto. Yes he is a bigger seller than floyd and canelo were/are. If you think that means he's too big or too proud to take short money so be it. But floyd's short money was $25 mil-whereas manny's short money would be $40-50 mil, which reflects his larger standing at the time.

respectfully, in business, things change over time. In 2009, you are absolutely correct-which is why the split was 50/50 when manny walked away over the ped testing request and the cutoff. as his position remained strong he could use percentage split as a negotiating tool.

but when floyd made that offer, however bad it was, it's clear manny has no chance to make that without floyd. Manny sees to have topped off in terms of earning-while floyd (through GBP) had more options.

I explained to you several times that 40m was not an offer to Pac, it was for TR and Pac to split between themselves. They split 40m minimum on JMM 3 or 4. Remember? So he'd be taking a 12% raise for the biggest fight of all time. That was a slap in the face post Bradley, hell probably even now.
