Floyd has needed GBP since leaving TR. Floyd just thought of the best roadblock of them all that he knows Manny would never accept.
Then manny can go on fighting the Rios's of the world. Alvarado next!

defense of floyd is a tired line used by manny fans when the facts don't back them up. yeah manny is seriously asking for a floyd fight when hee hasn't begun camp for his novemeber comeback fight which i allegedly so difficult that he could lose.

mainstream fans dont think the fight is a big because manny lost 2 in a row. i'm sure they dont factor in the robbery nor how "great" he jmm fight was.
DUNN don't make such a fuss over what you know is nothing. All Pacquiao did was make a very mild resonse to Mayweather calling him a has-been. I've never seen so much garbage generated by a couple of innocuous words. you know that he's not looking to arrange a Mayweather fight (even if such an impossibility should be available) in the middle of July when he is concentrating on his next fight 4 monrhs away-which he may not even win.

And you certainly know that Mayweather was out of line in demanding that mannyP sign with Mayweather "Productions" which is a phony company anyway which has never even produced a newly laid egg. For a solid middle-aged guy who has as much sense as I know you have, you post in some very teen-fan like comments. You seem to let Mayweather-itis get into your head and affect your brain. That's only for ignorant kids.

That's not what Floyd said though. You need to sign a contract........which means at least 5 fights and you know he would have to fight and win all 5 fights before Floyd would entertain fighting him and he would retire anyways to avoid the fight.

There have been plenty of fighters who have gone far past 49-0. Chavez didn't lose until he had over 80 fights. The 49-0 should only be a mark for an unbeaten heavyweight champion.

It's only the truth...Floyd never wanted to fight Pacquiao, his family didn't want him to fight Pac either.

I'd bet he got "plenty surprised" at the massive settlement he had to make to settle the legal action against him. I see that possibly having the result that Mayweather became short of money and had to make that Showtime contract.

The irony is Manny would never ever fight Canelo at 152 , if his life depended on it he would not fight Canelo he would not even fight Uri Foremen , and add to that Floyd schooled the guy that blew Manny out but Floyd is scared of losing to Manny who has zero to very little chance of winning , Canelo is a much tougher fight than Manny .

                  Only in Pacsville .

He obviously wanted the fight back in 2009 though. Too bad for all you people obsessed with the fight that Pacquiao walked away to fight Clottey.

People just need to get over and accept that the fight will probably never happen. I don't even see why some of you are still so interested, Pacquiao has little to no shot. Pacquiao fans should be hoping for opponents that are more tailor made for his style.
yea,i'm hoping so i never thought floyd ducked pac but if he's serious about this damn it's a blatant duck period.

but let's wait till after the canelo fight to see what he says about the pac fight we'll *******s won't but i'll wait.

To say that Mayweather knew that Pacquiao would walk away from the fight over drug testing is a strong assumption. I would argue that if Mayweather knew that Pacquiao would walk away from the fight over drug testing, then it was because he also knew that Pacquiao was dirty. There would be no other reason to take that gamble. Think about it, there was no need for Mayweather to invent a "roadblock" to avoid the fight when all he had to do is refuse to submit to one of Pacquiao's stipulations, such as the outrageous overweight penalty. The fact that Mayweather agreed to all of Pacquiao's demands and even relented some on his one demand once Pacquiao initially waivered(offering the 14 day cut-off that Pacquiao initially refused) illustrates that he wanted the fight at that time. After then, not do much. Pacquiao should've took the fight back then.
