Its aimed at qualifying why you are running with floyd being scared. I have never seen you suggest when TR or K2 make potential opponents give options on future fights as a condition of manny and wlad fights, that fear is motivating that decision. But now when floyd suggests it you do.
Mayweather is not some heavyweight promoter, he's a Golden Boy fighter. They promote his fights.

Moreover, you won't see K2 trying to sign Haye before they fight him. It's just a ridiculous pre-condition, just the latest in a long line of them from Mayweather because he doesn't want the fight, he's scared of going one on one with Pacquiao (he has his health to think of).

You know its bluster and business and not because you think thse actions equate to fear-its because you are grinding an axe because of something that happened over 5 years ago and you haven't resolved your personal feelings about it.
It's not business, it's an indication of someone who doesn't want to do business. Bluster, yes.

As for Hatton, I would dislike Floyd if Hatton never existed so it's irrelevant.

People just need to get over and accept that the fight will probably never happen. I don't even see why some of you are still so interested, Pacquiao has little to no shot. Pacquiao fans should be hoping for opponents that are more tailor made for his style.
Clottey was in march, and Pac was done with his political debut in may. Why did Floyd go unnaccounted for the rest of 2009? What you meant to say, Floyd was interested in fighting Pac in the first quarter of 2009?

Yes. After Pacquiao walked away from the original negotiations, Floyd and his team obviously lost interest in the fight. It did look like he really wanted again last year before he went to jail, but Pacquiao and his team walked away to do something else. Neither side has done everything in their power to make the fight that's why I laugh at Pacquiao fans who have convinced themselves that Mayweather is scared of Pacquiao. Let's be realistic.

Yes, but you should know by now that logic doesn't factor into anything that a ******* says or thinks.

Pacquaio doesn't need Mayweather. Pac can fight anybody -- including Brandon Rios -- for his usual $5.6 million guarantee plus percentage of the PPV (which is getting smaller and smaller with each fight).

LOL. What a fanbase. They're trying so hard to stop the fight from happening. Same fanbase that claims it's a sure win for their idol. Same fanbase that jumps with joy when they see their idol get record breaking PPV numbers. Yet they're doing everything to stop the fight.

All I know is that if you're a fan of a boxer, you'll want to see his top rival get punked with your own eyes, instead of just fantasizing about it. This fanbase of Mr Mayweather is *****.

I almost don't want the fight to happen just to spite people like you. At this point, just seeing Pacquiao in the ring with Mayweather would be a moral victory of you losers and I wouldn't be mad at Maywearher one bit for denying you all of that just off of GP.

Floyd has been ahead of the roadblock game since day 1. Floyd knew that accusing Manny of being on drugs would derail the first negotiations and was probably surprised that it went as far as it did.

So after that, Floyd made sure that there would be no fight by removing the cutoff dates, going on several extended vacations, negotiating fights with other fighters instead of Manny, asking for ALL PPV money and now this latest joke.

I don't think you or anyone can get mad at this stance seeing as it is exactly how Manny's promoter operates.

The difference of course is JMM and Tim don't make as much so they are far more likely to give options on future fights to get such a big pay day. Manny, since he can make $20 mil for Rios level fights can easily say no.

I mean come on man, manny is getting in on the hype and floyd is piggy backing off it both hoping their indivdual ppv #'s go up because the spectre of the fight is out there.
But there's a big difference between the status and expertise of Top Rank as a promoter and Mayweather Productions. You know as well as the rest of us, that Mayweather doesn't do any promoting but that Oscar does it for him. This would mean that MannyP'd be betraying Arum, which seems very unlikely, especially given his future aspirations.

That's what I'm telling B Dunn but he is too far gone with this "protect Floyd at all costs"

Floyd has needed GBP since leaving TR. Floyd just thought of the best roadblock of them all that he knows Manny would never accept.
