  • Manny CherryPicked recent loser Rios. So hes using Floyd's name to sell it.

Floyd avoids talking about Manny, But the media keep Probing the question. Floyd gets nothing from talking about Pacquiao. Its Pacquiao that gains from floyd talking about him or him talking about Floyd.

Listen pea-brain; it wasn't sloppiness it was "fortune de la guerre". There are 192 posts on this page right now and if you want to count them you'll find that at least 30-50 clearly state that Pacquiao tripped over Marquez' foot and fell straight into a punch, (which probably would have missed if he hadn't fallen in to it)... Don't be so simple minded. You're a guy who can take off his shirt without undoing the collar button, but you don't need to shout it out aloud. Regulars all know about you anyway but others might think you are intelligent and knowledgeable. I don't mind letting them think so, but you have to do your part, so shut up with your nonsense..

      • I still wanna see this fight because I still believe that Pacquiao has the best chance to take Floyds 0.

        • It may of been a shocking 1 punch KO, but I wouldn't say it was lucky. Pacquiao's hands were completely down and his head wide open. I think he got too over confident and thought Marquez had nothing big that could put him away in 1 punch.

With that said, with Fraud Jr. and Manny both getting older, I think style wise, the defensive wins this late in the game. Manny doesn't have the same energy level or hunger that made his style devastating in the past. He won't be able to fight every minute of 3 rounds to bank the rounds against Fraud as he would have when he was younger.

            • he landed the exact same punch in round 4 I think and Pacquiao looked hurt but he didn't go down and he fired back.

I also remember Pacquiao against the ropes and doing the double feint while Marquez tried to counter in the end of round 2 or 3. It wasn't luck. Pacquiao made a mistake and he paid for it. IMO Pacquiao gave his best performance since the Cotto fight. Pacquiao looked extremely fast and determined.

Now if a guy smaller than Floyd KOed him like JMM did to Manny then I would seriously question my thoughts concerning Floyd .
Well Unloaded, he actually does have to take the fight. He has five fights he needs to comply with his much advertised Showtime deal. And because of the debacle with Guerrero, they want a good drawing opponent this time and Alvarez seem the most prominent right now. It needs to be a top fighter to make up the huge lasses of the first fight. otherwise i'm sure that Showtime has the option of cancelling the contract.

I believe that the contract and guarantee are only on a fight by fight basis anyway, but were announced as a huge money packet for PR reasons.

Please, 4 rounds of whooping on Rios and we're back in business.

He didn't "have to" do anything. Showtime have said they didn't lose any money and who would know better than them? Mayweather chose the fight because he needs as much money as he can get before the end of his career, he's not the smartest with it.
