His word 'lucky' punch isn't to discredit Marquez, it's to state that in all of boxing 1 punch can change everything, and even if a fighter is being dominated, he can throw one punch to change it... at the end he even says that is boxing in essence.

He respects Marquez, he just knows deep down, like all of you piss-drinkers, that he was dominating the fight and on his way to victory, so it's a shame that on that punch of all punches he went down, as it was the one where he clearly tripped.

It's as stated before, it was a good punch, but it was more about Pacquaios footwork being tangled up and falling into the punch than it's power that lead to the KO.

Do people not understand that his comment was instinctive in order to hype up another Marquez fight? Who is he honestly going to fight after Rios that's in Top Rank? Despite getting brutally knocked out, Mayweather still wants no part to Pacquiao. Marquez is the only one left.

it's about time Pacquiao spoke out about the Marquez loss. It WAS a lucky punch, which Marquez had been trying to land for the previous 2 fights. there was a video posted on this site in slow-motion which showed that Pacquiao clearly tripped ober Marquez' outstretched foot and fell face first into that punch. I was pure luck that Marquez threw it in that exact spot in that exact moment.

All the anti-MannyP crazies and half-wits won't change the facts. It marquez had been the one to trip, they'd have been saying that Pacquiao scored a lucky ounch..... eh??

In the round he got knocked down, he was winning, in the round he got KO'd, he was also winning. He would have been 2 points up on the cards when the round ended and Marquez was already breathing out of his mouth with a smashed up nose.

I'd say it was clear he was being outboxed and dominated, moreso than any other fight. Marquez actually looked sub-par in boxing Pacquaio in fight 4.

people saying manny looked good in that dont understand JMM knew he was going to have to take more punishment in this fight so he could get the knockout it was the plan all along.Manny is a decent fighter but flawed and he got exposed Mayweather would make him look like an idiot
