I think its perfectly reasonable that Manny has something like this to say but what's unrealistic is thinking a matchup with Floyd has any significance at this point. If Manny hadn't been utterly erased in his last bout, sure, yeah, maybe but in the real world....

Luck is not a function of the prepared which is what Marquez was. Luck is something Manny is telling himself to carry on.

It seems a lot of people believe Pacquiao beating Rios will put him back at the top of the sport with Mayweather, which is absurd.

No, it will just stoke the fires for the fight to happen again. Unless he's completely shot, Pac will look like a million bucks against Rios.

I'd love to see the Pacquiao that destroyed Cotto and Margarito back. Pacquiao seems to have lost his mojo, but I hope we see one last great performance by Pacquiao. Hopefully he's fired up and ready to have no mercy on his opponents.

How erroneous that Pac is using Floyd to promote his fight. Floyd is getting a lot of spot light with his coming match and what looks like a solid undercard.

Yet Pac's foe might promise an action fight it is not as near getteing the attention and has a very crappy undercard

If for the last 7 months he and his fanbase are constantly reminded about getting kTFO. After a while I'm sure that has to gnaw at you. Then to have JMM aggressively use his levearge to turn down the fight until he gets offered more money than he is actually worth (to quote Jay-Z " he's overcharging ni&&as for what they did to the cold crush") and Manny has to be annoyed.

In addition, he has to watch floyd make a guaranteed minimum of $40 mil to fight in the biggest fight of the year and pretty much dismiss him as if he were a low level bum.

I can definitely understand why the real manny would get pissed off.

I still think Mayweather-Pacquiao happens eventually. It won't be until Manny fulfills his Top Rank contract though.

The funny thing is aside from the 2 KD's and eventual KO there, Manny was probably looking the best he had since 2009-2010. Manny's not shot, unless this extended amount of time off and the KO took something out of him.

He still beats anyone from 140-147 not named Mayweather and it's 50-50 with Marquez again. The funny thing is Marquez was looking slow and not as fluid with his movements last December compared to their 2011 fight in my opinion. He just happened to time two punches perfectly, give credit where it's due.
