well, even those who hate him have to grudgingly concede that he's a brilliant boxer. i've never heard anyone dispute his ability, bar two or three extreme pacquiao fans here on nsb who were probably trolling anyway.

I hate mayweather.. and his fans!!! but like you said my friend.. I conceded that he's a master technician with a business savyness that just surpasses even the prolific sc um Arum! I just think he could of given "his" fans more.. and now he's just sitting back and having casual fans eat up his promises and sometimes borderline garbage.. Can't hate getting paid for not doing the work!! like a BOSS..

It's ESPN. The list was probably a choice between Mayweather and some MMA fighter. That's why Mayweather wins this award so much.
