yeah, i dont understand what the award is based on. work done in 2012? if so, the cotto win was worth accolades indeed. alot of people give floyd grief for looking human in that fight, but i actually commend his approach.

i dont think it contradicts the fact that floyd polarizes fans... honest truth is people DO pay to see him lose. i think his fans are that much more vocal about their love for floyd, and they are a HUUUUGE demographic. they made their votes count. america LOVES winners, so it makes sense people are drawn to floyd.

floyd wins every year he is up for it. manny won the other years. its a pure popularity contest.

oh he is polarizing. If anything, his being polarizing makes a higher percentage of his opponents fans purchase the ppv. but I think the NSB theory that the bulk of people watch to see is debunked to an extent.
