There is no blueprint besides luck! Anyone can get lucky.

Other than that, a fighter needs to have very similar boxing skills and a matching high boxing I.Q. If not that, then you need luck. That is the only way.

Think mang think !! Who has he fought in the past 8 years ?

Old faded fighters who could have done it in their prime but they were too worn

Little fighters, Jr came in bigger than they , they were too small, even Guerrero couldn't do it

      but

Canelo is quick enough to hold jr and maul him about , its gonna be left up to the REF. Guys are saying he is not quick enough, they don't know what they are talking about.

        I'm glad you're not Canelo's trainer!

Duran isn't wrong, Canelo just can't do it.

Dude is gonna be inactive for most of the round taking pot shots and looking lost.

Great advice. Problem is, that's not Alvarez style. Alvarez, despite his power and somewhat intimidating demeanor, actually prefers to counter-punch.

That, however, will not work in this fight. Floyd Mayweather will own Alvarez if he tries to fight a distance based strategy.

Hopefully, for Alvarez sake, he's been working on an aggressive approach for this fight, because he's got the power and punching variety to make that work.

Alvarez is a ferocious body puncher, and that could be a huge factor if Alvarez cuts off the ring and pushes the action.

If not, it will be a long night for Alvarez and he'll be on the bad side of a lopsided decision.

                  real talk^^^^^^^^^^^^

Hoya and Hatton combined tried every maul move in the book...if it has one

Duran is a OG so you have to LISTEN....but IMO, you have to have a solid jab in your tool box to beat Floyd....speed and footwork is a must as well....flat feet and slow hands gets you no where with Floyd!!....what's the use of having a big gun and big bullets if you can't hit the target?!?
