it's not canelo's style and i don't think canelo can easily transform to something like that. he likes to phase himself in the ring trying to conserve his weak stamina. he doesn't also have the footwork and footspeed to catch up with floyd's movement so i think it's a vain attempt to implement that kind of gameplan.

for me his best chance is to stink up the fight. if floyd doesn't want to lead then don't lead too until the boos is loud enough to force floyd to do something else aside from waiting for his opponent to lead, counterpunch, move out and frustrate his opponent. maintain a safe distance and let him come to you for a change, get him close and that's when you attack him.

Lol, I just feel Haglar loses in the speed and stamina category and Haglar loses his balance a lot but he's stronger than Floyd but I dont think that'd be enough to get past Floyd. Floyd's ring movement and reflexes would keep him from punishment as always I think.

          .
Come on Brick, that's terrible man, terrible. All that's gonna lead to is Canelo eating lead right hands, and Floyd dipping out...the usual.

Canelo does not have the Stamina or the Inside game to fulfill Duran's request.

floyd is his most effective when his opponent is leading and him countering because he's always 1 or 2 steps ahead with that style...he already perfected it.

when is floyd a little vulnerable of getting hit? when he stands his ground like in the cotto fight. it's not like he was leading in that fight, he just stood his ground and he got hit more than usual. what more if he was the one leading? just for a change and let's see what happens.

if canelo takes the lead, we already know what happens, he gets countered like a little kid, gets frustrated and lose focus. try something different and let floyd lead.
