But if that smaller guy have the balls and skill set to go with it am all for it, I love both of this guys, it is hard to pick....but because of size and explosivnes I'll go with Gamboa.

I don't know about Gamboa having better timing that Mares. If that was the case he would have stopped Ponce De Leon too.

He outboxed PDL in every round and when he step up on the gas it wasn't not even close, by the same token Mares was rocked and hurt a few times by left hands he could see a mile away, in boxing triangle theories don't work so I'll go for the talents they both have,
punching power= Gamboa
Speed= Gamboa
chin= both has been down but never out (Gamboa more times than Mares)
bigger= Gamboa
Although there some intangibles that could turn the fight...

God dam Mares is just the kind of fighter that everyone should look up to weather your a fan or fighter. He is one of the few true fighters left that is not afraid to actually actively challenge himself without having to resort to his promoter to look for the easier way out like many of todays fighters. Any one who hates on him should really ask themselves if they are a true fan of the sport cause he is one of the few remaining things that's actually good left in boxing.

Rigondeaux is at his weight limit, he is being jumping weight classes for the past 10 years, 118-122 is his weight, Mares say he will go down to 122 to face him and he just have one fight at FW so the problem is not the weight, the promoters are...
