Oh sorry Tunney if he is not eastern European he is not a contender i forgot, the kid is fighting someone with a pulse and a fellow unbeaten prospect which is more than i can say about other so called prospects, give the kid some respect for doing something you and i cannot do.

Problem is he is fighting Joe Hanks, who most likely is the best American HW. Ruiz gets KO'd here, or gets his ears boxed off, he can't hang. That isn't to say I don't think he can be a somebody, but he isn't beating Hanks.

It has nothing to do with where a fighter is from, I have favorites from all over the world, including many from Latin America.

I have respect for Joe Hanks because he comes in shape. I have no respect for a professional athlete who is at least 60 pounds overweight.

But it's a good matchup because it will help Hanks become established as a contender.

Not saying he doesn't have potential but good genetics has nothing to do with him having to drop lots of weight. He was simply out of shape. I understand not everyone will have a six pack but i don't think bad genetics forced him to go to the buffet...
