What does his color of skin have to do with anything? Are you insinuating fans of floyd mayweather are black? I am a Floyd fan and I am not. Are you a fan of boxing? Or a fan of boxers of a certain nationality/color? I am a fan of boxing.

Interesting you call someone else racially motivated but you post something ignorant like this.

I think it would be great for boxing if he did! I don't get into this My Country vs Your Country and this "PRIDEFUL COUNTRYMAN" BULL**** I just love the sport of boxing regardless of where the fighter is from.

Filipinos are a great fanbase and very loyal to their fighters, I think it would benefit all fighters you can keep that Filipino fanbase around after Pacquiao is gone

Sure some of those fans can be annoying but every fighter has fans that are ***in annoy and go overboard especially on the internet

Few as annoying as the ones he brought, but aside from that, I completely agree. Some people didn't read the OP or misunderstood the question, I never asked if somone "like" manny would come along again, I only asked if someone filipino would be similarly iconic, not as iconic, but will they have another international star. Who cares what his style is, just will there be another significant filipino boxer that may become a top 10 pvp fighter.

how is it ignorant? Boxing biggest fights have been dependent on nationality and many black boxing fans say they support the black boxer? I have no problem with it to be honest, as long as they give credit to the guy who beats their fighter.

You can support any one you want, I just don't like the racists who hate on any person who isn't there own race and plays the race card and don't give props to a fighter.

Like for example a lot of Mexicans supported Mexican fighters against Pacquiao, but when Pacman beat them they gave props. Its only the flowmos who play this race card crap, they have been indoctrinated to think racist if anyone mentions the word BLACK, when what I said wasn't even racist or ignorant!

Why does BET market to blacks? is that racist? seriously wake up already. Business people market to certain demographics.

Unless they tell you specifically, how would you know the color or nationality of a fan of a black boxer posting in this forum?

How is it ignorant? How is it not? You make a claim that "flowmos" "only" play this race card crap, and are "indoctrinated" to think racist when they hear the word "black", in the same paragraph. It's contradictory and false. Proof? Here, I am a "flowmo" and am not black, am not playing a race card, and give credit to any fighter when it's due, regardless of race/belief.

No need to explain to this dude man, trust me. Just with him mentioning flowmo is enough for you not to get down to his dumb ass level. You seem level headed and we need more people like you around here and less of idiotic fans. I am also a fan of floyd and I used to hate his freaking guts part of the reason being the unwarranted hate he gets and he is a great boxer. Off my soapbox.

Here's my breakdown to this question based on the province where I live.

                    My province has:
                    1) 7 cities
                    2) 40+ islands
                    3) 40+ towns
                    4) each town has 10-40 barangays
                    5) each barangay has 5+ sitios

                    Now:
                    1) most of the sitios has its own small basketball court
                    2) then the barangays has also its basketball court
                    3) then the towns have a gym which is literally a basketball court
                    4) no need to mention anymore the basketball courts in the cities, in schools, in some institutions, etc.
                    5) billiard tables are now surpassing basketball courts too...

And this province has only 3 known boxing stables. So literally you only have three boxing gyms where boxers trains. There are other boxing gyms of course but it's just for fitness, not for boxers.

To answer the TS, NO, he has no successor. Maybe 50 or 100 or even 200 years from now. Teens & adults here will watch NBA or PBA rather than boxing.

Finding Michael Jordan (lol) or Willie Mosconi or Efren Reyes successor is easier than finding MP successor.

Also, the "Philippines has stop when Manny fights" is exaggerated IMO. NBA or PBA finals here are as popular as Manny fighting. It just happens that Manny fights on Sundays, that's why they said "stop" because it's a rest day.

Idiot! Pac was already a WBC flyweight champ at the age of 19. By the age of 24 he was already a 3 divisions champ and 2 lineal champ while your coward idol at this age was still fighting bums after bums taking care of his precious health. If you can't see the real deal and the pretender then you better change your sport to aerobics.
