Sounds believable, everyone has an off day. The guy even admitted to getting beat up during every subsequent sparring session because of his early sucess.

BTW, I also believe that Spence might have been the one to give Mayweather the black eye he was sporting during his last camp. Not sure about the Broner rumor, did Spence ever confirm or deny the story?

Anyone else get annoyed when Elie calls an unknown boxer a boxing "star"? I'd understand if he called him a boxing prospect or an up and comer but it just seems lazy.

It's possible, guy is some weight classes above him and in sparring you're not always sharp.

He says he caught him to the body and dropped him. It may have knocked the wind out of him. Gennady could have still been kinda soft at the beginning of training etc so it is very possible.

Everyone knows I'm always plugging GGG in here. He is still human though and sparring a much bigger guy. It can happen. He still said GGG made him pay for the rest of the camp though!LOL
