    World super-middleweight champion Carl Froch says he is willing to fight his stablemate George Groves in what would be an eagerly-awaited domestic showdown.

    Froch beat Lucian Bute last year to claim the IBF title and George Groves is now the mandatory challenger for that title, meaning Froch may lose the belt if he does not agree to face him.

    And the 36-year-old, who is fresh from beating Mikkel Kessler in a May thriller, says he will fight his former sparring partner rather than be stripped of his title.

                          Anything can happen but I'm not a fan of Groves.

I guess he was delusional for a minute from beating a shot kessler he thought he could take ward... the way he acted after beating him you would think it was ward he beat. Wise choice Froch set up a kessler III bout after groves so that he's even more shot and then talk more **** about ward so he can ignore you while he sits pretty from the p4p list...eddie hearn had to pull the pimp hand out and slap some sense across your face

                                  Love this fight. Groves has needed a step-up for ages, and Froch... well, I don't know what he gets out of it, but it's still a good scrap on paper.

                                      Froch is overrated to extreme
                                      Only thing he has is chin
                                      No foot movement... no reflexes.. no handspeed...
                                      Call me crazy but Groves can easily outbox him.. Easily as long as he doesn't stand there and trade.
