Why is it that PACMAN can tell 154 lbs fighter to CW at 145 lbs ? But Floyd ask you to lose 2 lbs less than your weight class now its not fair. I thing he should pull a PACMAN move. He is also 147 lbs champ, come fight me at that weight, but he said no lets fight at 152 known that he is getting in the ring with a LHW.

Cottos last like 6 fights before Pacquaio were at WW and he apparently never weighed in over 147.
He went on to fight in LMW after Pacquaio, so you fail.

Also there is a difference between muscle and water... the weigh in weight is muscle (and some water) the hydration weight is literally all water, stop acting like bigger fighters have some huge advantage.

Lastly, you don't class a boxers weight division by his fight night weight, you class it by his ability to make a certain weight on the scales the day before the fight. Don't be such a ******...

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!. ARE YOU FOR REAL. Cotto was at 160 when he was fighting at 140. They stop show his weight on the night of the fights, thats how bad it got. And yes bigger do have an avantage, get hit by some one that has you by 20+ lbs. So I did not fail, lets protest boxing so they can weight in on the day of fight so we want have this to talk about any more, then people can fight people their own size. So stop being a sack puller.

I thought when floyd talks everyone hear could hear his BS, I guess not! I assume when your refering to floyd repeating and repeating.... that when he was going to fight miguel cotto at hes "Real", "True" weight of 154, because cotto was a natural 154 pounder(even thought cotto's best days where at 140 and 147). And we all know that was a shot a pacman for fighting cotto a 145 two pounds under the 147 weight limit where Cotto was the champion. and another thing the fight before cotto fought floyd he fought Antonio Margarito with a agreed catchweight of 153 pounds. Cotto originally wanted the catchweight to be 150 pounds with a "next-day" weigh-in. Would a ''real'', ''True'' light middle weight ask for thoughs catch weights, I dont think so. So for floyd a champ at 154 and 147 to ask another champ at 154 to drop two pounds i dont think is not right but Probably in his best intrest. (alla pacqiuao, cotto and marquez)

My point some fighter can get a CW and some cant.the bottom line is I dont hear Canelo crying about it, he is ready to fight. If I was Floyd I would have said lets do 154, but if you go over 165 you lose money. Well this fight would not have happen. You cant have it both ways one man cant get up to 154, and a man who cant stop going over 170.

Weight-wise he will be more than ready. First camp in his life with a nutritionist, it will be no problem. Alvarez isn't complaining about the weight, going forward the catch weight is an absolute non-issue.

Alvarez is not a good, let alone great, fighter. If a 23-year old guy who has 42 pro fights and has held a world championship belt for two years is not ready to fight a 36-year old who should have retired five years ago, the 23-year old is not very good. Period! You can sugar coat it all you want to, but Alvarez is not that good.

This version of Canelo has not experienced good fighters that move and counter well. Canelo could have at least fight someone else at 154 that can give some of that. Someone like a Lara and Molina would be good experience.

I'm not sugar coating as I have already pointed out that Canelo has quite a few issues to fix plus he fights rather flat-footed and that is not good against an opponent with good movement.

Canelo didn't have to wait until Floyd is 40. He could have fought him a year later and get some solid fights in the meantime.
