De La Hoya: Mayweather has to come up to 154 for Canelo
"Canelo is barely making 154, says De La Hoya, and Canelo can’t even make 152 for a catchweight fight. "

if alvared can't make 152. then why did he agree to it? mayweather did'nt have to fight his ass at all. he has business at 147.

Wow, Canelo is in top shape! He'll burn 13 lbs as he gain more strength heading to the fight night. Finding the right sparring partner is the key to Canelo's victory. They should hire Rig's trainer as consultant, that would help a lot. Floyd is too smart, takes a brain to beat another brain. Floyd was never beaten by power alone.

Just proved to you what they all thought before signing the fight. It's going to put extra pressure on the inexperienced young Canelo.

As for Floyd. You forgot the simple fact that Floyd has a belt at 154. That is what makes this CW thing the more silly. Three 154 belts on the line, both fighters with titles at 154 yet its a CW.

I knew he'd do the smart thing and start losing weight the proper way when the fight was announced.

Why Offer a catchweight knowing that it can blow off the fight, especially after you've fought and won titles at 154 where it was suppose to be?

Yeah the Ducking Catchweight King is a hypocrite, says one thing to cotto one day, something different to Canelo the next!

                What a clown.

165.... and to think Alvarez wanted this fight at 150... Damn, shame on Floyd for forcing Alvarez to gain those 2 lbs to make 152... and shame on Floyd for agreeing to 152 when it was supposed to be at 150 that Alvarez wanted. lol

Wait, can Floyd even make 152lbs? He didn't even make 147 last fight.. lol Floyd's going to be fat.. lol

Well Canelo actually said he did not wanted to fight below 154, but Mayweather's team wanted 147 and or 152, so he had to compromise, and said he could only give 2 pounds...so in a certain way he did ask it to be at 152, but it is true he was to certain extent forced in to it.
