Nonito Donaire said he walks around at 145

Anyone saw that interview on Friday night fights? He said he was around 145 pounds.

I think its time for this dude to move up already, Pacman walked around at 145 when he was fighting at 126 and weighs in around 145-148 at welterweight.

Anyone else think Nonito should just jump straight to 140 now? I mean if Pacman can fight those bigger guys and weigh around the same as Nonito.

You guys think he will be better if he doesn't have to drain himself to make weight?

He's kinda short for 140. He's like 5'5. Besides most jr ww are coming down from like 160 in their walk around weight.

Hell no. He's soft at 122. He'll be even softer at 126. I think featherweight will be the limit for him as a world class fighter. He's not young at all.

Depends, I think he should move up but remember he has been out of training for a while, once he does him 8 week camp or more, don't you think he would naturally lose weight? I would say 135 is what he should be fighting at but he knows his body best, it could be 130 that he is suited for

140 is a bit much at the moment, unless he can get a super easy fight, 140 could backfire back time

pacman was a freak of nature, there is a reason the mayweathers ducked him, donaire is simply a very good fighter imo we are still to find out if he is special and can weight jump

Pac's jump in weight is a rare occurrence. I don't see Donaire doing well at 140. He is too big for 122lbs though. I think his max weight to be a world class fighter would be 130. If his power and speed doesn't come up with him, what else does he have.

Even 135 is way to big for nonito. He would get schooled even worse by Vazquez or Burns.

He is 5 foot 7 and is taller with longer arms than Manny Pacquiao.

He also said he isn't a fat 145 either, his face didn't look fat at all.

How about he fight at 140 against someone like Lucas Mattysse? That would be a super fight and a good test for Nonito to see if he can be top 50 of the current fighters today.

He was completely out of fighting shape.
