Definitely, guys like that always leave me with new things to learn about boxing and give their view on how it can be done. Every style has something to teachComment

Yea except, Rigo is better than Ward, has real power and doesn't headbutt and clinch every 5 seconds while draining fighters and trying to force others to come up and fight him in his back yard.
Rigo >>>> Ward in almost everyway possible
Ward shouldn't be in the same sentence as Rigo and I don't even like RigoComment

Rigo is better than Ward.
Ward is very versatile though and can fight in whatever manner is required. Skill level though? Rigo is WAY out in front.Comment

I remember when Floyd got classified as runner solely because of his performance against Baldomir, this went on for years. It's funny how the same has happened to Ward, except instead of running it's "boring", I can't remember the last time Ward has been in a boring fight. The man walks his opponents down, works them close and sits on his punches, how is that boring? People need to admit they don't like success, all there is to it.Comment

No he isn't, Ward can sit in the pocket and neutralize his opponents' best weapon by simply smothering them; tying them up, Ward is the more versatile of the two. Rigondeaux has the quicker hands, better puncher P4P and a tad bit more precise in his counter punching, I really don't want to go through the whole list as both are exceptionally skilled but Rigondeaux ain't better than Ward.Comment

HAHAHAHA!!!! GTFO Ward and Rigo fight NOTHING alike. Rigo is a runner, and barely lets his hands go. Ward actually takes risk, sits on his punches, and looks to do violence to his victims. He doesnt hold as much as he used to. He in return, became an exceptional inside fighter. So now he just brutalizes you on the inside. His last few fights had the crowds going bizzerk and where very violent showings from Ward. Rigo is a GREAT fighter, but he is NOTHING like Ward. Ward is one of those tactical boxers who really put it all together, as far as completing the style. Its okay to be a boxer's boxer, IF you have that killer instinct to do legitamate harm to your opponents. And Rigo doesnt have that all the time. I seen glimmers of it, but its not there most of the time.Comment
