no I dont at all. I made one post in this thread about the reasons I think HBO is not making this fight right now.

If you think ggg beats floyd fine. I think the discussion of that fight is an utter waste of time given floyd is on showtime,ggg is on hbo, and GGG isn't the best MW in the world.

If you'd rather waste time discussing that fight rather than a more likely one I'm sure you will find others willing to join you.

golovkin's defense is fine. with the kind of offensive firepower that he has of course he would always try to put pressure on his opponents. it's expected for anyone who puts offensive pressure like he does to be vulnerable of getting hit. even ward, if he tries to use the same offense as golovkin, he would get hit more often too.

it's a matter of style really, if you choose offense you sacrifice your defense. in golovkin's case, i think he has the perfect balance of offense and defense. well, of course he's more offensive but even with the kind of power that he has you can see patience in his game. he's not the brawler type. he sets up his offense with his jab.

i don't wanna see him any different than that, or be more defensive. it would put some excitement away from his game. you don't wanna put to waste a crippling power like that by being more defensive.
